Genome Tordar-Talzin (Born Rona Tordar) was a human male who operated as a Rebel navy captain for many years, eventually forming the Chandrila Republic Naval Academy. He was born to the prestigious Tordar Family before being forced to abandon a high-class Coruscant life with his mother and siblings, which is when he joined the Rebellion to help make ends meet. Known as one of the most committed rebels, he was held in great regard by both the original Rebel Alliance and the New Republic.
Growing up on Coruscant, his family life seemed perfect from the outside. But in reality, him and the rest of his family were suffering under the verbal abuse inflicted by his father, Onhan Tordar, a high-ranking Imperial general. Eventually, Genome was forced to take his father’s life to protect his mother and siblings, and afterwards, they were forced onto the run. Using his education at the prestigious Imperial Flight Academy, he joined the Rebellion to help his family, but equickly found himself radicalized by Rebel principles.
As war broke out, Genome was fiercely loyal to the Rebellion, often helping Mehri Reza on her special operations. During this time, he was forced to kill, causing him great distress every time. But when he met Armen (Eventually Armen Tordar-Talzin,) her Night-Sister's principles helped him find peace with his actions. Despite the opposing sides they had once been on, he was able to convince Armen to join the Rebellion and help him destroy the Empire. Soon after, they fell in love and were married the day after the Battle of Yavin.
After the war, Genome found great acclaim within the New Republic and put his experience to good use as he helped the New Republic with many matters before eventually forming the first flight academy and becoming the head of all New Republic Navy operations. Alongside him, Armen also took a high position within the New Republic. During this time, they also had 4 children together, all of whom Genome was greatly dedicated to. Remembering how his father treated him, he swore to be the best father he could be.
